Terms of Service - FLT News

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing FLT News ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

FLT News is an automated AI-driven information aggregation platform that synthesizes publicly available news data into structured "5 W's" event traces. Content is generated and curated using artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

3. No Professional Advice

Content published on FLT News is for educational and general intelligence purposes only. It does not constitute financial, legal, investment, medical, or professional advice of any kind. Do not act on FLT News content without consulting qualified professionals.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid consumer subscriptions ("Front Line" at $1/mo, "Pro Analytics" at $5/mo, "Insight+" at $15/mo) are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled from the Settings page. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Applicable sales tax and VAT are added at checkout when required.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not scrape, redistribute, or resell FLT News content without written permission. You may not use the Service to harass other users, attempt to compromise its infrastructure, or violate applicable laws.

5a. Developer API

The FLT Terminal API is a separate paid product governed by these terms plus any signed order form. Access requires a sandbox key issued after review of your submission at /docs/api. Rate limits, uptime commitments, and permitted redistribution are defined per tier (Signal, Desk, Enterprise). API keys are personal to the issued account and may not be shared or resold. We may throttle, suspend, or revoke keys that exceed contracted limits or breach these terms.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. FLT News and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

11. Mandatory Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service will be settled by binding, individual arbitration, rather than in court. You explicitly waive your right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FLT News and its operators from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
